Trailer Boss

Everyone's watching. Don't jackknife.

Back a boat, camper or cargo trailer down the ramp, into the driveway, or between the cones — with working mirrors, real hitch physics, and a crowd that is not on your side.

The dread, simulated

Backing a trailer is the one driving skill nobody practices until they're doing it live — at the boat ramp, on a Saturday, with a line of trucks waiting behind them. Trailer Boss lets you get it wrong where it's safe. Real articulated hitch physics, a cockpit view with working side mirrors, and six jobs that ramp from an empty driveway to a packed launch. Miss the zone and the trailer jackknifes. Cut it too far and you'll clip a spectator who was, unfortunately, right there.

Six jobs, five trailers

🚤

Boat Ramp

Straight down or angled back-in — square it in the zone and launch.

🏡

Driveway

Back between the cars into the yard without a scratch.

🅿️

Parallel Park

Swing the trailer in along the kerb, level with the truck ahead.

🏗️

Work Site

Turn the rig around, then thread the fifth-wheel into the bay.

🏕️

RV Spot

Back the camper into a tight campground slot between the posts.

🎯

Beat Par

Every job has a par time and a personal best to chase.

Swap between a boat, camper, cargo box, fifth-wheel and tandem trailer — and they don't drive the same. Short trailers dart and jackknife in a blink; long ones lag and track wide. The physics are the whole point.

What's in the cab

🪞 Working Mirrors

A cockpit view with real, live side mirrors. Learn to read the mirror instead of the screen — the skill that actually transfers.

🚤 Real Hitch Physics

A deterministic articulated truck-and-trailer model. No arcade fudging — it behaves like the real rig on the real ramp.

👀 Crowd Mode

Turn on the gallery and the ramp fills with spectators who watch, honk, and judge. Nerves are part of the skill now.

🎚️ Assist to Expert

A steering guide and a no-rush Grandpa pace for first-timers. Expert turns the help off and lets you work it out.

⏱️ Par Times & Records

Beat par on every job, then chase your own best time. Clean, fast, no touches — that's the run to beat.

🏆 Achievements

Earn them the hard way. DOOR BASHER, PRETZEL, SUBMARINE, ICE WATER, RIG AGNOSTIC — some are compliments, some really aren't.

👀 Crowd Mode — the real test

Anyone can back a trailer in an empty lot. Flip on Crowd Mode and the ramp fills with spectators, a honking line of trucks, and at least one crying baby. Clip one of them and you'll hear about it. It's the closest thing to real Saturday-morning boat-ramp pressure — without anyone remembering your name afterward.

No coins. No timers. Just the game.

FAQ

Can Trailer Boss help me learn to back up a trailer?

Yes. The hitch physics are a real articulated model, so the muscle memory transfers — small corrections early, hand at the bottom of the wheel, watch the mirror the trailer drifts toward. Assist mode shows where to steer while you learn, and every mistake is free.

What's the trick to backing a boat trailer down a ramp?

Put your hand at the bottom of the wheel and move it the way you want the trailer to go, correct small and early, and watch the mirror on the side it's drifting toward. Trailer Boss drills exactly this — with and without a crowd watching.

Does it have real trailer physics?

Yes — a deterministic articulated model with five trailer types that each behave differently. Short trailers dart and jackknife; long fifth-wheels lag and track wide, just like real life.

Is Trailer Boss free?

Free with a single bottom banner ad. A one-time purchase removes it — no subscription, no coins, no timers.
