These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Strike Analyzer mobile application ("App") developed by ProDirt LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Strike Analyzer is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a lightning warning system, not a safety device, and must never be used to decide whether it is safe to remain outdoors.
Distances produced by the App are estimates based on flash-to-bang timing. They can be substantially wrong due to reaction time, detection error, terrain, multiple strikes, atmospheric conditions, and other factors. Lightning can strike more than 10 miles from a storm — farther than thunder can be heard. If you can hear thunder, you are within striking distance. Follow National Weather Service guidance: When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors, and remain indoors until 30 minutes after the last thunder.
You assume all risk arising from your presence outdoors during thunderstorms. Using this App requires observing lightning, which means a storm is nearby; your safety decisions are yours alone and must not rely on the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Android devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play's terms of service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
The free version of the App is supported by banner advertising served by Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by Google and its partners; we do not control and are not responsible for advertised content. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising data.
The App offers a single one-time in-app purchase ("Pro") that removes ads and unlocks the complete strike history. Pro is not a subscription and does not expire. Payment is processed by Google Play Billing; refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Pro is linked to your Google account and can be restored on a new device by installing the App from Google Play with the same account.
Bolt photos, session recordings, and the strike log are stored on your device and are your responsibility to back up. We have no access to them and cannot recover them. Deleting the App or clearing its data permanently deletes the strike log.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DETECTION WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DISTANCE ESTIMATES REFLECT ACTUAL STRIKE LOCATIONS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRODIRT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ANY DISTANCE ESTIMATE OR TREND READOUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
ProDirt LLC is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates are distributed through the Google Play Store. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
