This privacy policy applies to the Kite Force Pro app (referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by ProDirt (referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".
The Application collects certain information when you download and use it. This may include:
The Application requests access to your device's location in order to fetch live, local weather data (wind speed, temperature, and barometric pressure) and to display a live wind map relevant to your area. This location data is used only on-device to make the weather API request and is not stored, shared, or transmitted to the Service Provider's servers.
The Application may request access to your device's camera and photo gallery so that you can attach a photo to a kite profile you have saved. Photos are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to the Service Provider or any third-party server.
All kite profiles, measurements, and configuration data you enter are stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not have access to this data. The Application provides backup and restore features (including Google Drive integration) to help you safeguard your data; these features are initiated solely by you and are governed by Google's privacy policies when Google Drive is used.
The Application offers a one-time "Pro" purchase that unlocks additional features, including automatic Google Drive backups and the ability to save more than 5 kite profiles. All financial transactions and payment processing are handled exclusively by the Google Play Billing System. The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store any personal financial information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.
The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. These include:
The Service Provider may share your information with third parties only as described in this policy, or as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process), to protect the rights or safety of users, or with trusted service providers working on the Service Provider's behalf who have agreed to adhere to this privacy policy.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or through the app marketplace.
The Service Provider will retain any User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. To request deletion of data you have provided, please contact the Service Provider at prodirt.co@gmail.com and they will respond within a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at prodirt.co@gmail.com so the necessary actions can be taken.
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this policy periodically, as continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any changes.
