🔒 ColorSeeker analyzes camera frames live on your device — they are never uploaded or sent anywhere, and there are no accounts. The app is free and shows a single banner ad through Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID; a one-time purchase removes it.
This privacy policy applies to the ColorSeeker app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by ProDirt LLC (the "Service Provider"). The Application is provided "AS IS".
The Application itself does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, and it has no account system. Camera frames are processed on your device and never uploaded (see below). The only data collection involved comes from the advertising it displays: to show ads, Google AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and limited technical information, as described below.
ColorSeeker requires access to your device's camera for one purpose only: to detect colors and count objects in the live camera view. Camera frames are analyzed on your device in real time. They are not uploaded, and not transmitted to the Service Provider or anyone else. If you choose to save a screenshot or result, it is written to your device's own storage and stays there under your control.
Any preferences or settings you configure are stored locally on your device only. The Service Provider has no access to them.
ColorSeeker is free and supported by a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may access your device's advertising identifier along with limited technical and usage data (such as device type and general location inferred from your IP address). The Service Provider does not receive this data or control the ads shown, and the app does not access your device location. AdMob's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy → and How Google uses information →. Making the one-time in-app purchase turns off all advertising.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Application shows a consent message (using Google's User Messaging Platform) that lets you accept or decline personalized advertising. Where required, you can review or change your choice again from the app's menu.
ColorSeeker offers one optional in-app purchase that removes ads, processed by Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google — the Service Provider never receives or stores your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Google account and can be restored by reinstalling with the same account.
The Application is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google Play Services may process limited technical data as part of normal app distribution, governed by Google's Privacy Policy →. This is standard for all Android apps and is not something the Service Provider collects or controls.
Note: the advertising identifier described above is used by Google AdMob to serve ads, not collected by the Service Provider. It stops being used once ads are removed.
ColorSeeker is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. Because it serves advertising using an advertising identifier, it is not designed or marketed for young children. If you are a parent or guardian with questions, contact us at prodirt.co@gmail.com.
Uninstalling the Application removes its local data from your device. You can reset or delete your device's advertising identifier at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, and clear the app's data via Settings → Apps → ColorSeeker → Storage → Clear Data. Any screenshots you saved to your gallery can be deleted like any other photo.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
