Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the BloodHound app (referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by ProDirt LLC (referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

📍 Location Data

The Application requests access to your device's location for the following purposes:

Foreground Location — Used while the Application is open and actively in use. This enables GPS trail tracking on the live map, showing your current position and recording your path during game recovery.

Background Location — Used while the Application is running in the background (e.g., when your screen is locked or you switch to another app). This is essential to Trail Mode functionality. Without background location access, GPS trail recording would stop the moment you lock your phone or check another app, breaking the continuity of your recovery trail.

Background location is only active when a trail is actively being recorded and stops automatically when you stop or save a trail. Your location data is never transmitted off your device. All GPS trail data, markers, and recorded paths are stored locally in the Application's database on your device only.

📷 Camera

The Application accesses your device's camera for two purposes:

• Real-time blood detection analysis using color processing
• Taking photos for camera pin markers during Trail Mode

Photos taken within the Application are saved to your device's local storage only.

💾 Device Storage

Trail data, markers, and exported KML files are saved to your device's local storage. No data is synced or backed up to any external server.

👤 No Account Required

The Application does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Data We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email, or contact information
• Advertising identifiers
• Your GPS location transmitted to any server
• Usage behavior or analytics
• Any information shared with third parties for advertising

Third Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services — Used for in-app purchases (Trail Mode unlock) and device services. Google Privacy Policy →
• OpenStreetMap — Used to render map tiles in Trail Mode. Map tile requests are made to OpenStreetMap servers and include your approximate location to load the correct map tiles. OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy →

In-App Purchases

Trail Mode is available as a one-time in-app purchase processed through Google Play. The Service Provider does not collect or store any payment information. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play.

Data Retention and Deletion

All trail data, markers, and app settings are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by:

• Deleting individual trails within the Application
• Going to Settings → Apps → BloodHound → Storage → Clear Data
• Uninstalling the Application

The Service Provider does not retain any of your data on external servers, as none is collected.

Children

The Application does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us at prodirt.co@gmail.com and we will take immediate action.

Security

Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers, your trail data and location information are protected by your device's own security measures.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
